- Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
- But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
In trials deep, where fears may creep,
Christ’s path, a call—not to retreat.
Though Peter once, in fear, did sway,
The cross before, Christ chose to stay.
“Suffer with me,” the Saviour pled,
Through thorns and tears, His followers led.
For in our pain, His presence near,
Transforms our loss to hope so clear.
Embrace the trials, as gold refined,
In suffering’s fire, His joy we’ll find.
For with His glory, soon to shine,
Our hearts rejoice, forever thine.
