- Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
- And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
- All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Lord, I believe; help Thou my disbelief,
In darkest hours, in pain, and in grief.
To every soul that whispers, low and brief,
‘Have mercy, Lord, endow us with relief.’
Faith, a bridge to heaven, our true reprieve,
With Christ, no sin too great to find relief.
Though doubts may linger, and we stand beneath,
He never casts us out, holds firm our belief.
So cast yourself upon His grace, so chief,
‘I believe, Lord; help my unbelief.’
For never shall we perish, or know grief,
In His embrace, we find our sure relief.
