grace in trials

In whispered trials, we find grace,
For each hardship bears His trace.
Hated, poor, yet strangely blessed,
In our sufferings, Christ confessed.

Through prisons dark or illness’ throes,
Where His love, the deeper grows,
A hundredfold awaits the meek,
For in the broken, Him we seek.

Minister as to the Lord,
In each act, His love outpoured.
Disciples true, in pain rejoice,
For in our trials, we hear His voice.
